Practices of the medicine can broadly be divided in two parts i.e. palliative and curative. Almost all of the present-day medical practices fall in the palliative category as these help buy some time for the body to cure itself. The advent of stem cell sciences offers a curative part of the medicine which can be called as regenerative medicine. With the aim to promote interaction among practitioners of regenerative medicine an active platform is needed. World Association of Regenerative Medicine (WARM) is an organization which has been created to offer such a platform. It is primarily focused on bringing together scientists and clinicians all around the world who are committed to understand the science behind regenerative medicine and practice that for the welfare of needy patients. The science of regenerative medicine involves therapies that can help a body to repair and regenerate its damaged tissues and organs. A necessary component needed for accelerating the regenerative medicine’s success in terms of its clinical translation, active interactions among the practitioners can be a very powerful tool. For accelerating the awareness of RM and translating the concept at clinical levels, this site is created to pioneer and promote regenerative therapies that can successfully be taken to different clinics. Announcement of this program is with the aim to promote awareness about the ongoing innovations and practices in the areas of regenerative medicine by the investigators and practitioners in the field, including those at Global Institute of Regenerative Medicine and Research. I believe that this platform will promote healthy transfer of knowledge which can further be accelerated using the cases of successful outcomes using the principles.
